Smart Chain II ALL NEW “Smart Chain II” – the Motorcycle & ATV Chain that Thinks A remarkable, technical achievement by Krause/Sidewinder engineers has resulted in a clever chain that transfers maximum power by virtually eliminating drag and friction. This ingenious new design is called “Smart Chain II.” Utilizing the new patented V-series, SR-51 saturated Smart Rings, this new “Smart Chain II” from Krause/Sidewinder gives the motocross, off-road, and ATV rider no more need to compromise. Now, one “Smart Chain II” does the job of two chains….(Oring and non-Oring at the same time). “Smart Ring” chain transfers maximum power like a non-Oring chain and simultaneously provides life and durability 4 times longer than Non-"O"ring chain and twice the life of older X, T,W, Z, and D ring type chains. The Smart "O"-Rings are saturated internally with temperature and pressure-sensitive aerospace lubricants. As the chain begins rotation and heats up, they begin a self-lubricating process at the pinch points of the sideplates. Friction and drag are eliminated almost entirely; horsepower goes to the maximum possible. It is like getting two chains for the price of one.
