An 8mm film of Super Joe Einhorn's last jump before his fatefull crash at Santa Fe Speedway in Willow Springs Illinois I believe this was in the 1976 and shortly after this jump he was seriously injured in a Jump at the same venue. He completes the jump but lands hard and isn't able to apply the brakes in time to avoid the wall. He lays it down but misses the hay bales that were supposed to pad the wall. This was performed at the Wednesday night motorcycle TT races. I think his final jump was that weekend at the stock-car races. If you have any feedback or questions please use the form below. Question from: Mark Kintzley
Where is Joe Einhorn today? I helped him out in my brother-in-law's gym after his failed last jump.
From: Irene Alcala
I was married to Super Joe in 1968 and divorced in 1972. We have a son Eric L. Einhorn who is now 40
years old and lives in Sandpoint, Idaho. He is so much like his father in his sense of humor and his
mannerism. In 1976 he performed with his father. He went through a wall a fire on his motorcycle
(he was 7). I think he still holds the youngest daredevil title.
Thanks for this site!

I met Joe in 1970, I was 12. He was a great guy. He gave me my first ride in a Corvette, his roomates Duetch yellow '68 Corvette.
Joe had a 64 Pontiac back then. He would pick me up at my house on 34th st and we would do errands,go to JK Cycle Inn who
sponsored him at the time and cruise out to Pt. Richmond to watch hillclimbers. He was a guy I'll never forget. Would love to
speak/visit with him. I have old pics he signed for me and would like to show him.(40 yrs ago, wow)If someone could contact me
with an address or contact info. I would greatly appreciate that.
Thx.
